Part of me feels like this could be interpreted in many different ways! Like how everyone is a monster — there was the one illuminated by the train lights, and then there was the main one we followed, who killed off their little friend (?). Another part of me wonders if this could represent those stuck in their current situations, with no way out, like dying people or those living with their abusive parents, because they can’t move out without it being a mess. This film has so many layers of weirdness and artistic depth that it feels more like a movie than actual movies I’ve seen before, and I love it!

The atmosphere is also well done. The coloring and train imagery give me a sense of nostalgia, but also sadness at the same time. It’s really wonderful what you did with the color selections. And the gore was done in such a way where it doesn’t feel scary or grotesque. This, combined with the unfinished (it works well though) feeling of the story, really lends it way well into a masterclass of not only storytelling—but art itself.
